Artist Rosé will release another single ahead of her full-length album.
The Black Label announced that Rosé will pre-release the single ‘Number One Girl’ on November 22nd (Friday) at 2 PM KST. This marks her first new song since ‘APT.’ was pre-released on October 18th, exciting fans who have been eagerly anticipating her comeback.
‘Number One Girl’ is another pre-release track from her upcoming first full-length album ‘Rosie,’ set for release on December 6th. The album will include the title track, ‘Number One Girl,’ ‘APT.,’ and a total of 12 songs, all of which Rosé participated in writing and composing, offering a more intimate glimpse into her personal stories.
Rosé’s previous pre-release single ‘APT.’ created a global sensation upon its release on October 18th, breaking records worldwide. It achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on domestic music charts, topped Spotify’s U.S. chart, reached No. 1 on iTunes charts in 40 regions, and ranked first on China’s largest music platform, QQ Music, dominating both the Americas and Asia simultaneously.
Moreover, ‘APT.’ debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, marking the highest position for a K-pop female artist and the first single by a K-pop female soloist to debut within the top 10. On the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, it debuted at No. 4 and climbed to No. 2, setting another record for K-pop female artists. The music video for ‘APT.’ broke the record for the fastest K-pop solo artist video to reach 300 million views, achieving this feat in just 22 days and 6 hours, a milestone not seen in 11 years.
Rosé will release her pre-release single ‘Number One Girl’ on November 22nd at 2 PM KST, followed by the official release of her first full-length album ‘Rosie’ on December 6th.
