Gabee says she's been waiting for YG Entertainment to call her for 15 years

Gabee revealed that she's been waiting for a call from YG Entertainment for 15 years on 'Salon Drip 2.'

Dancer Gabee appeared as a special guest on the November 19 episode of the YouTube channel 'TEO' show 'Salon Drip 2.'

During the show, Gabee shared that she lives in the same apartment building as host Jang Do Yeon, expressing interest in their connection.

She also mentioned a recent birthday party where she invited 30 friends, saying, “I haven’t even opened all my gifts yet,” and humorously added, “The gift I want is a boyfriend.”

When asked about her ideal type, Gabee admitted, “I didn’t realize it, but I seem to like handsome guys,” and added, “I must like charming guys. Among celebrities, Gong Yoo is my ideal type.”

Gabee, who recently became the muse for Park Jin Young’s new song, shared, “It’s an honor. This is the spot that was once held by Ko So Young, Kim Hye Soo, and Sunmi.” She added, “I had my first practice yesterday, and they scheduled only an hour. I practiced at full power like crazy, but it felt enough, and I could feel the passion.”

Gabee also reminisced about her 'K-Pop Star' audition, where she participated under her real name, saying, “I made it to the top 50, but there were so many outstanding contestants. It’s my dark past.”

When asked which agency she would choose among the “Big Three” (JYP, SM, YG), Gabee shared, “In high school, I waited outside YG with a CD of me dancing and handed it to them. It was a bold move.” She joked, “I’ve been waiting for 15 years, but I still haven’t heard back.”

When asked why she picked YG, Gabee replied, “Because I liked hip-hop,” but added with a smile, “If I had to choose now, it would be JYP.”

Gabee, an alum of Hanlim Arts High School’s first class, shared, “P.O. and Song Min Ho were my classmates. They stood out so much,” and noted, “It also surprises people that I’m the same age as SHINee’s Taemin.”

Jang Do Yeon comforted her, saying, “It’s because you led 'Lachica' and was a leader on 'Street Woman Fighter,' so you have a strong presence. You don’t look older.” However, when Gabee jokingly asked, “Who do I look the same age as?” Jang Do Yeon replied, “Maybe Taemin’s second older sister?” causing everyone in the studio to laugh.
