On November 21 KST, the APAC branch of Walt Disney Company hosted its 'Disney Contents Showcase APAC 2024' at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. During this showcase, Disney unveiled its lineup of theatrical and streaming service platform productions launching in 2025~2026, including original series and contents by Disney+ Korea and Disney+ Japan.
In particular, stars of upcoming Disney+ original series such as 'Light Shop', 'Hyper Knife', and 'Knock Off' including Joo Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, Park Eun Bin, Seol Kyung Goo, Kim Soo Hyun, and Jo Bo Ah appeared at the showcase to discuss their projects.
One noteworthy announcement made on this day by Carol Choi, chief director of Walt Disney APAC, was the production of 'Moving' season 2. The director commented, "I'm proud of the many productions that we have showcased in the past 3 years, but the one production that the fans have been asking about more than all others is 'Moving'. It was the most acclaimed Disney+ APAC original series, and the #1 viewed Disney+ APAC original series worldwide. So we decided, this can't end here. We've begun working on 'Moving' season 2 with its original writer Kang Full. It's still too early to disclose more details, but we will deliver more news in the near future."
