RIIZE's Wonbin recently shared his thoughts on groupmate Seunghan's return.

On October 13 KST, Wonbin communicated with fans on the Weverse platform, saying, "BRIIZE (RIIZE's official fandom)! I’m not sure where to begin... but I’ll gather the courage to say what I want to share with you.

Even as I write this, I’m thinking about what BRIIZE will feel when they see it. I’m being careful, and I’m worried. But I feel that if we, the members, don’t say anything or don’t share our thoughts, it will only lead to more confusion and difficulty for everyone. So, I’ve organized the conversations I’ve had with the members and am writing this message.

During this time, BRIIZE must have wondered whether Seunghan would return, and why we didn't give a clear answer sooner. I completely understand those thoughts.

We’ve also had many long discussions with Seunghan and the company. The members thought about it deeply, again and again, and I hope you can understand just how much we’ve been contemplating this decision.

We’ve always wanted to make all BRIIZE happy, and we feel sorry that we couldn’t. I know this message may not completely ease your worries, but I hope it can at least bring a little comfort to your confused hearts.

RIIZE wouldn’t exist without BRIIZE. As I’ve always said, we want to continue creating good memories with you and see you for a long, long time.

So, if you can continue to support us and keep looking at us kindly, that would give us so much strength.

I promise that we’ll keep working hard to make RIIZE a group that BRIIZE can always be proud of."

Meanwhile, as reported earlier this week, it was announced that Seunghan would gradually return to the group’s schedule starting in November after his indefinite hiatus due to a personal controversy. He expressed his feelings in a handwritten letter to fans, saying, "Because I disappointed so many people, I wondered, can I stand on stage again? Can I continue to make music? I began thinking realistically. But during that time, the members extended their hands toward me. It must have been a difficult decision, but they still gave me a chance, and for that I'm grateful and sorry."

Seunghan added, "I know that to meet the expectations of the members who took my hand once again, the fans who are concerned that all the achievements RIIZE has built up until now will be reduced to nothing because of me, and of the company staff who reached a difficult decision, I need to show much more. I very much feel the weight of that burden and the fear that comes with it. But because there are those who believed in me, I think that it is up to me to do better."

Seunghan’s upcoming return has been met with mixed reactions from fans, with some encouraging a boycott of the group and even sending funeral wreaths to the SM Entertainment building in protest.
