Singer and actress UEE and actor Kim Kyungnam have been swept up in dating rumors due to their frequent appearances in matching outfits.
According to Nielsen Korea, the 7th episode of SBS's 'Jungle Bob' aired on the 1st, recording a 1.2% rating in the 2049 demographic and a 3.1% household rating in the Seoul metropolitan area, securing first place in its time slot.
The episode began with the cast waking up in the jungle. After a sleepless night due to the crowing of roosters, Ryu Sooyoung and Lee Seungyoon vented their frustration, saying, "Shall we make samgyetang (chicken soup) today?" UEE and Kim Kyungnam, tasked with feeding the pigs, hesitated to approach the animals, earning the nicknames "scaredy-cat" and "scaredy-scaredy-cat," which drew laughter. As suspicions of a love line between UEE and Kyungnam arose due to their similarly colored outfits, the two playfully argued, each claiming, "I wore it first." Lee Seungyoon humorously remarked, "What am I doing stuck in the middle of this?" adding to the comedic atmosphere.
Ryu Sooyoung cooked "land crab doenjang stew" using soybean paste brought by Lee Seungyoon, and prepared blood clams as a side dish, using sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar in a golden ratio. UEE praised him, saying, "Yesterday was Jeju Island, and today it's Gangneung."
The 'Jungle Bob' cast then visited the remote Santo Nino village deep in the forest. Ryu Sooyoung met Eden, the "home-cooking master" of Palawan, who took charge of the village's meals, and joyfully declared, "I've met my soulmate." Eden's cooking style, which mirrored his own, deeply satisfied Ryu Sooyoung, and after tasting Eden’s "chicken adobo," he joked, "Eden is so good at this, I feel nervous." Later, Ryu Sooyoung cooked dakbokkeumtang (spicy braised chicken), and Eden was impressed with its flavor.
Meanwhile, while checking the traps to catch wild eels, Kim Kyungnam had a hilarious moment when he threw the trap away in panic after locking eyes with an eel, earning him the nickname "precious baby" for his comedic reactions. Lee Seungyoon, UEE, and Kim Kyungnam then ventured into the mangrove forest in search of the second superfood, only to be shocked by the bizarre appearance of the "tamilok," a worm-like mollusk that locals enjoy for its energy-boosting properties.
As the locals described its taste as "similar to oysters," a horrified Kim Kyungnam joked, "I figured I'd encounter something like balut (fertilized duck egg) before leaving here." Despite his repeated pleas for a smaller portion, he was given a large tamilok and teared up as he struggled to chew it. His amusing challenge earned the highest viewership rating of 3.8%, marking the episode’s "best moment." In contrast, UEE boldly commented, "Honestly, I thought of cockroaches, but it’s more edible than I expected. The texture is like eating snot," and fearlessly took on the eating challenge, drawing attention.
Ryu Sooyoung later grilled the wild eel over charcoal after preparing a soy sauce and gochujang marinade, which Kim Kyungnam eagerly anticipated, saying, "This marinade could make even shoes taste delicious." However, after Kim Kyungnam accidentally dropped the precious grilled eel, UEE sighed in frustration, "I'm about to get really annoyed."
