The New Six eliminated from ‘Road to Kingdom’ in a tense second round

The New Six eliminated from ‘Road to Kingdom’.

On the October 17th KST episode of Mnet’s Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE, The New Six (TNX) became the first group to be eliminated from the competition.

The episode featured The Crew One (a collaboration between ATBO and JUST B), TEMPEST, and ONEUS completing their ‘IDENTITY’ mission for the second round. The Crew One, who ranked lower in the first round, performed a powerful mashup of JUST B’s “Get Away” and ATBO’s “ATTITUDE,” impressing the other teams with their unity and performance.

TEMPEST, aiming to avoid elimination, presented a refreshing stage with their tracks “Can’t Stop Shining” and “Eye of the Storm,” featuring main vocalist Hyuk and main dancer Hanbin. Their performance drew admiration from rival teams, who praised the stage’s vibrant visuals and fairytale-like atmosphere.

ONEUS concluded the second round with a fiery performance of their song “반박불가” (No Diggity), highlighting bold stage effects, including a guitar performance by Hwanwoong and soaring vocals by Seoho. The team’s intense stage presence impressed the other competitors.

As the first elimination loomed, the combined scores from the first and second rounds were revealed. CRAVITY secured the top spot in the team rankings, while ONEUS led the individual ‘ACE’ rankings. CRAVITY and ONEUS stood out as top contenders for the competition.

The Crew One and The New Six found themselves in danger of elimination. In the final battle, The Crew One’s Junseok and Seunghwan faced off against The New Six’s Eunhwi, who performed his rap track “UNDERWORLD.” Despite a close contest, The New Six was eliminated with a final score of 14-11.

Eunhwi expressed regret, stating, “There were many things I wanted to show, but I couldn’t display everything. I’ll keep this as a good experience and continue to work hard to become a brighter artist.” Fellow member Choi Taehoon shared his gratitude for the lessons learned about the importance of performing and the bond with their team.

The tension continues to build as another team faces elimination in the upcoming third round. Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE airs every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
