BLACKPINK's Rosé shared the behind-the-scenes story of her collaboration with Bruno Mars.

In a recent video, Rosé explained, "We were just hanging out in the studio when I thought, ‘Why don’t I teach you guys a drinking game?’ and I introduced them to the 'apartment game.' Everyone got addicted to it," she said, explaining the game’s rules.

Rosé continued, "The next day, after playing the apartment game, we decided to write a song. But on the way home, I started to worry. 'Is it okay to write a song about a drinking game? Is it too unserious?' I was scared."

She revealed, "I even told the producers and songwriters to delete the song from their phones, but then we realized everyone was hooked on it. So, we decided to bring it back and finish it."

Rosé also mentioned how she met Bruno Mars, "Last year, Bruno Mars performed in Seoul. I’ve always loved his music, so I went to the concert with a friend, and someone arranged a meeting. I made so many 'fan calls' to him," she laughed shyly. She added, "Bruno joined the project, and he had some amazing ideas for the song," expressing her admiration for the artist.

Rosé's pre-release single 'APT.' from her upcoming first full-length album, released on the 18th, quickly topped the charts on domestic platforms like Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe. It also secured the No. 1 spot on both the Spotify Global Chart and the U.S. Chart. Additionally, the music video for 'APT.' hit No. 1 on YouTube's trending videos and music charts, reaching 82 million views within just four days of its release.
