On October 25, F.T. Island's Hongki shared his thoughts on Minhwan's latest controversy and prostitution allegations.
Hongki wrote on Weverse, "It was their private matter, and it's turned out this way. You should acknowledge your wrongdoings and bow your heads in apology." And added, "Still, we shouldn't believe everything too easily. I have to hold on and endure. That's what we must do. What I can do is keep moving forward despite the obstacles thrown at us."
Many netizens took this short writing as a response to the latest controversy involving member Minhwan and his ex-wife Yulhee. As previously reported, Minhwan is undergoing a police investigation for allegedly soliciting prostitution, after Yulhee alleged he frequented hostess bars during their marriage.
Korean netizens commented:
"This is disappointing."
"Man, Hongki has such bad luck when it comes to the people around him."
"So he's supporting Minhwan, who's under investigation for prostitution?"
"Prostitution is illegal."
"I hope he's not saying he's supporting Minhwan."
"Wow..."
"But prostitution is a crime."
"What is he saying?"
"He's definitely shielding Minhwan."
"Huh..?"
"I'm so disappointed in Hongki."
"Again, birds of the same feather flock together."
"He shouldn't have said anything. If he stayed silent, people would've at least felt bad for him."
"There's a recording that is evidence. What does he mean don't believe everything??"
"What does he want to say? There's a voice recording that says otherwise!"
"I can't believe he wrote that after there was a recording of Minhwan talking about prostitution."
"He's also the same type of people as the members of course."SEE ALSO: Dancer/choreographer Monika Shin announces her marriage and pregnancy
