TV personality Jung Hyung Don revealed his transformation after losing 10kg (22lbs).
On October 21, after being selected as a weight loss model for the first time, Jung Hyung Don shared his progress, having lost 10kg in just seven weeks since starting his diet.
Jung Hyung Don explained, "It's been seven weeks since I started managing my health, but for two of those weeks, I was in Hawaii with my wife and kids. So, I think I’ve really been focused on my health for about five weeks."
He shared how much his lifestyle has changed, saying, "Before, I usually went to bed between 1:30 and 2 AM, but now I don’t stay up past 11 PM. And even though I used to sleep for eight hours, I would still feel tired and heavy, needing to take naps for an hour or two. Now, I feel good without needing naps, and I’m much more active. The best part is that I’ve been able to reduce my blood pressure medication. After consulting with my doctor, I’m planning to cut it in half."
Feeling lighter after losing 10kg, Jung Hyung Don mentioned that he has become much more active, saying, "I didn’t walk much before, but now that my body feels lighter, I’m more active. Lately, I’ve really gotten into walking around the neighborhood. The weather is great, and I’ve found joy in exploring parts of the neighborhood I hadn’t noticed before and in people-watching. Discovering these small pleasures is something I never realized before."
Jung Hyung Don also mentioned that people around him have been commenting on how much weight he’s lost from his face, saying, "I actually have dimples. They were hidden under the fat, so people didn’t really know, but now that I’ve lost weight, they’re starting to show. What’s funny is that I can also see my collarbone again, which I haven’t seen in ages. One of my bucket list goals is to be able to scratch my own back once I reach my target weight. It may sound odd to others, but that’s a dream of mine."
Jung Hyung Don, whose goal is to reach his ideal weight, shared, "Right now, my pants are getting so loose that I can fit a fist in the waistband, but I haven’t bought new clothes yet. Since my body changes every week, I can’t just keep buying clothes. So, I’m waiting until I reach my goal weight to shop. I’ve always worn elastic-waist pants, but now I can wear jeans, which I haven’t been able to do in a long time. I don’t even remember the last time I wore them. In the end, I’d love to show off in a stylish suit. With the help of experts, I think reaching my goal won’t be too difficult."
