ITZY shares laughs and stories on MBC’s ‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Hope Song’
On October 22nd KST, ITZY appeared as guests on MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Hope Song’.
During the broadcast, DJ Kim Shin Young complimented Chaeryeong, saying, “I’ve watched all of ITZY’s performances, and Chaeryeong is so pale. When she went blonde, she looked just like a Barbie doll. With ‘Barbie’ being a hit recently, it was really surprising. How is your scalp doing?” Chaeryeong humorously replied, “My hair breaks a lot, but extensions are really good these days, so I manage to hide it well.”
When asked if she finds touch-ups exhausting, Chaeryeong admitted, “It feels really hot and painful.” Kim Shin Young empathized, saying, “The salon schedule must be tough. It’s challenging.”
Kim Shin Young also praised the group’s variety show skills, saying, “I’ve watched all your variety appearances, and I can tell your comedic timing has improved. It looks like you’re thinking about how to relax a bit. You’re sharp and quick!” ITZY laughed and joked, “You can tell?”
When asked about future hairstyle ideas, Chaeryeong shared, “I’m not really into big changes, so I’m thinking about going back to black hair soon.” Yeji added, “I want to try a blue-black shade, something cool-toned.”
Kim Shin Young also brought up Lia’s strong and quiet personality, comparing her to a “dark magician,” and asked, “You’re strong, but it seems like you lose important games, like rock-paper-scissors?” Lia admitted, “I’m really bad at games, especially when we do group content. I lose a lot.”
When asked which games she excels at, Lia confidently responded, “I’m good at physical or messy games.” The ITZY members laughed, pondering, “Should we try some makeup challenges next?”
Lastly, Kim Shin Young noticed how Yuna has matured, saying, “I’ve noticed Yuna becoming less baby-like. And suddenly, you’re having deep conversations about makgeolli!” Yuna, born in 2003, laughed and replied, “I wouldn’t say I love it, but I do like it.” She also mentioned that her taste differs from Chaeryeong’s. The group also shared that they occasionally gather for a drink to celebrate special moments.
‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Hope Song’ airs every day from 12 PM to 2 PM on MBC FM4U and is also available on the ‘mini’ app for PC and smartphones.
