Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin recently garnered significant attention by posting a scene from the anime 'Wedding Peach' on her Instagram.
Though the post lacked any detailed explanation, the subtitle in the image reads, “You’re pitiful for not knowing the greatness of love,” which immediately caught people’s attention. The scene comes from the final episode of 'Wedding Peach,' titled "Last Wedding."
This sparked various speculations among the public. Some suggest that Min Hee Jin might symbolically express her close bond with NewJeans, while others believe she could subtly criticize HYBE.
The post has drawn even more attention because Min Hee Jin is preparing for a legal battle with HYBE.
The Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Division 50 has scheduled a hearing for October 11 regarding Min’s lawsuit against HYBE, in which she is seeking an injunction related to voting rights.
This will be the second hearing since the conflict between the two parties became public, and it’s expected that both sides will clarify their positions further during the session.
Min Hee Jin’s legal filing on August 13 argues that her dismissal from the CEO role violated the shareholder agreement with HYBE. She is seeking an extraordinary general meeting at ADOR and her reinstatement as an internal director.
Min Hee Jin maintains that her dismissal, just two days before her term was set to expire, was unjust.
On the other hand, HYBE asserts that her removal had nothing to do with the contract, claiming that the shareholder agreement with Min had already been terminated. This has further escalated the tension between the two sides.
