Karina, a member of the group aespa, issued a warning to a sasaeng fan (A sasaeng fan is an obsessive and invasive fan who engages in extreme behavior to intrude on the private lives of celebrities, often violating their privacy and personal boundaries.) who called during a live broadcast.
On October 15th, aespa members Karina and Giselle hosted an Instagram live session. During the broadcast, Karina mentioned, “We didn’t go live for any particular reason. No one asked, but…” while Giselle added, “We were just bored,” explaining their reason for going live.
However, during the broadcast, the screen briefly froze as a sasaeng fan attempted to call. Both Karina and Giselle frowned, with Giselle asking Karina if she knew who it was. Karina responded, “It was an international call.”
Karina then looked directly at the camera, clenched her fist, and firmly warned the fan, “Stop it.”
The two also mentioned the recently popular show 'Culinary Class Wars' Giselle humorously quoted a famous meme from the show, saying, “'Culinary Class Wars' is so fun. It’s me, perilla oil,” playfully imitating the meme.
