The Most Irritating K-Drama Villains

AKP STAFF
 K-drama villains

If you're a K-drama fan, you already know there's always one villain that gets under your skin—the one we all collectively agree is the most frustrating and despicable character ever written. Below are some K-drama villains that have easily topped the list of the worst characters ever.

1. Jang Dae Hee from "Itaewon Class"

Jang Dae Hee’s obsession with destroying Park Sae Royi in "Itaewon Class" is truly pitiful. How threatened must he be to use all his wealth and power to take down someone decades younger, just because they're on the verge of establishing one of the most popular bars in Itaewon?

2. Kang Ye Seo from "Sky Castle"

If high school wasn’t hard enough, Kang Ye Seo makes it even worse. Highly self-absorbed and obsessed with grades, she'll do anything to stay number one in class. If you ever encounter a classmate like her, your best option might just be to transfer schools!

3. Kim Ji Sang from "Good Partner"

Kim Ji Sang is possibly one of the most loathsome characters ever created. He not only divorces his wife and lies to his daughter, but also has an affair with his wife's secretary—getting her pregnant in the process.

4. Cho Geol Gang from "Crash Landing On You"

Cho Geol Gang is a classic example of someone who abuses their power for personal revenge. After killing Ri Jeong Hyuk’s brother, he’s bent on ruining Yoon Se Ri and Ri Jeong Hyuk’s lives, because apparently, murder wasn't enough for him.

5. Park Haeng Ja from "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay"

Park Haeng Ja is undoubtedly one of the most unsettling villains. Not only did she traumatize Mun Yeong during her childhood, but she also killed the mother of Sang Tae and Gang Tae. To make matters worse, she changed her identity and took a job as a healthcare worker.

6. Choi Young Do from "The Heirs"

While Choi Young Do isn’t necessarily a villain, he sure was an irritating third wheel. His constant interference in Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang’s budding romance made him the ultimate possessive character.

7. Yoon Eun Sung from "Queen of Tears"

Yoon Eun Sung, honestly, could have been left out altogether. He has trouble understanding the concept of consent, repeatedly ignoring when a girl says "no." Talk about problematic!

  4. Lee Min Ho
