Fans of Seventeen were angered after seeing scalper bots in action at an internet cafe.
On September 11 KST, tickets for Seventeen's 'RIGHT HERE' world tour show in Goyang opened for official fan club members via Interpark. The shows will be held for 2-days from October 12-13 at Goyang Stadium.
Many fans enthusiastically took part in ticketing to secure their tickets for the Seventeen shows. However, some time later, one netizen noted on X,
"I came to an internet cafe, and there are 3 rows (about 10 monitors) of computers that have Seventeen's ticketing platform open on their browser windows. There are no people sitting in front of the monitors, but all of the monitors are selecting their preferred dates and waiting in the queue. What am I looking at?"
The netizen then added on a complaint, writing, "Hey Interpark, if you have time to harass actual fan girls, use it to catch these bots!"
Witnessing what appeared to be scalper bots in action, netizens reacted with comments like,
"You can literally see it selecting a seat and even processing the payment..."
"No wonder there are never any seats left for me."
"Wait, is that bot grabbing tickets at 7:43 PM? When the tickets don't go on sale until 8 PM??"
"Why do I have to go through such a complicated process with my hands literally shaking just to pass the identify verification when these programs are getting all the good tickets?"
"How the heck am I supposed to beat those bots."
"Interpark won't do a thing about these bots but when it comes to actual fan girls, they can't harass us enough."
"It's crazy that people are literally committing crimes in the open at an internet cafe."
"WTF how am I ever supposed to go to a concert to see my idols!"
"I wanna shut down every single one of those computers."
"I can't believe I couldn't get a ticket because of those things."
"Can someone report this to the police??"
"Interpark won't do anything. Heck, even their employees scalp tickets."
