On the September 18th broadcast of SBS PowerFM's 'Cultwo Show,' Ji Seung Hyun, who is currently starring in the drama 'Good Partner,' appeared as a guest and shared amusing stories with the DJs.
Actor Ji Seung Hyun, who plays Kim Ji Sang, the cheating husband who betrays lawyer Cha Eun Kyung (played by Jang Nara) in 'Good Partner,' greeted listeners with an apology, saying, "I’m sorry for breaking your hearts on the last day of the Chuseok holiday. It's nice to meet you."
Ji Seung Hyun grabbed attention by recounting how he proposed to his wife.
He said, "My wife, being an art major, was really interested in human anatomy books but hadn't been able to buy one. When I found a foreign edition at a bookstore in Daehangno, I bought it for her and said, 'Dissect me.'”
He also reflected on his long period of being unknown, adding, "I think I was relatively unknown until 'Descendants of the Sun'. That period was so long that even my wife doesn't say much about my career. She just says, 'You worked hard,' and leaves it at that."
One listener humorously shared that their 70-year-old mother-in-law, who watches 'Good Partner,' struggles to separate the drama from reality and is holding a grudge against Ji Seung Hyun’s character, Kim Ji Sang, the adulterous man he plays.
Ji Seung Hyun also shared how his family reacted to the show, saying, "My kids don’t watch the drama, and my wife watches it while hitting me on the back of my head."
At the end of the broadcast, Ji Seung Hyun revealed, "I'm preparing for a small movie project and hope to greet you all with it next year," raising anticipation for his future work.
