Former APRIL member and actress Lee Naeun faces another setback in her career

Naeun, who made headlines earlier this year due to dating rumors with soccer player Lee Kang-In, is once again facing challenges in her career.

At the time of the dating rumors, both sides quickly denied the speculation, with Naeun’s agency stating that they were "just acquaintances." Despite their denials, online speculation grew as more alleged sightings of the two on dates surfaced.

However, the rumors between Naeun and Lee Kang-In recently ended when Lee Kang-In was linked to Park Sang Hyo, the fifth-generation heir of the Doosan family. 

According to reports, the two were recently spotted on a date, watching a professional baseball game in Seoul. With this new development, Naeun was able to distance herself from the dating speculations with Lee Kang-In.

However, her relief was short-lived as allegations about her involvement in bullying a former APRIL member resurfaced, putting her career on hold once again. YouTuber Kwaktube recently made comments defending Naeun, which sparked an outcry from netizens, reigniting the bullying controversy involving her and other APRIL members.

In his video, Kwaktube apologized, stating that the controversy surrounding Naeun had been misunderstood. However, netizens criticized his remarks, pointing out that the APRIL bullying accusations had not been fully resolved, and it was premature to absolve her.

Netizens began revisiting and sharing timelines of the APRIL bullying controversy, summarizing the statements made by the members at the time, directing further criticism towards Naeun.

Although Naeun has denied the bullying allegations, the controversy forced her to drop out of a drama she was set to appear in, leading to a two-year hiatus from the entertainment industry. Despite her attempt at a fresh start under a new agency as an actress, her return has been marred by the reemergence of the bullying allegations, making her comeback even more difficult.
