Korean netizens have recently been discussing an interesting topic in a popular online community. A few netizens have pointed out that less and less handsome individuals are aspiring to become idols.

They recently asked the question, "Why aren't handsome kids not becoming K-pop idols?" in a popular Korean forum. One netizen shared, "Handsome kids are not becoming idols anymore these days. Then what kind of job would they have? Surprisingly, people who are as good-looking as celebrities don’t usually become influencers or YouTubers. Are they models or just regular office workers…?"

Other Korean netizens joined the discussion and began to share their two cents on this topic. They commented:

"They become handsome company people."

"They become influencers."

"There aren't that many handsome influencers though."

"I wonder if they go to work at host bars..."

"I think it's better to look handsome when you're an ordinary person."

"Honestly, it's rarer to find someone who’s good-looking and just a regular person."

"They become actors."

"The handsome guys we get to see are only celebrities."

"It does seem like being an idol is the most bothersome job for a good-looking guy. You have to practice dancing rigorously, and there are a lot of restrictions on your behavior. If someone becomes a celebrity, they'd probably choose to be an actor instead."
