On September 1, during Day 2 of Taeyang’s ‘THE LIGHT YEAR’ solo concert tour at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, fans were thrilled by a surprise reunion of BIG BANG on stage.
VIPs (BIG BANG’s fandom) quickly took to social media, sharing fancams and expressing their excitement over seeing the group perform together again. G-Dragon and Daesung made a brief appearance on stage, and what really caught the attention of K-netizens was the performance of "Good Boy" by G-Dragon and Taeyang.
K-netizens couldn't believe G-Dragon performed the song flawlessly after such a long time and without a rehearsal. They reacted:
"Wow, they're really good. GD, let's have your comeback soon."
"When others imitate GD’s gestures, it seems over the top, but when GD does it, it’s cool. It’s amazing."
"Come back soon, please!"
"GD is just GD, really..."
"It's hard to see clearly, but I keep watching anyway."
"GD is really a legend."
"When is the album coming out? 😢"
"OMG… you really need to release the album."
"King of performances."
"They're on another level."
"Wow, seriously."
"Why didn't I go? 😢"
"OMG, is this for real?"
"When is GD releasing the album? 😢"
"Please, GD, release the album already."
"I keep rewatching it."
"Wow, GD!"
"Wow, they're really good. You can’t even tell they were on such a long break."
"Seeing GD performing on stage recently is so amazing. He’s doing great, but it feels a bit surreal to watch."
"Look at GD's dance lines, so beautiful."
"I’m blown away. He seems like someone who performed just yesterday. Has he really been on break for seven years? If he can do this on the spot, he needs to get back on stage soon..."
"Wow, his dance lines are still as sharp as ever."
"I’m so moved."
"This is incredible. I’m honestly speechless. How did we go 7 or 8 years without seeing this? He’s truly a performer."
"Legendary."
"He’s been on break for seven years, didn’t even rehearse, yet he still feels like a current performer. It’s the most amazing thing... How does he do that?"
"Wow, I haven’t seen a Big Bang lightstick in so long."
"Even watching his old performances now, GD was insanely good. The bigger the stage, the more he seemed to go into a trance, like he was possessed. It’s amazing that after all these years, his class is still the same. You can’t even tell he took a break. 😂"
"All I can think is that getting tickets to GD’s concert is going to be tough..."
