IVE unveil new English language single 'Supernova Love' feat. David Guetta at 'Show What I Have Encore'

IVE unveiled a new English language single, "Supernova Love" feat. David Guetta, during day one of their 'Show What I Have Encore' show at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. 

The single samples the iconic melody line from the OST "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence" by Ryuichi Sakamoto, adding an air of dreamlike mystery to IVE's sound. 

Netizens reacted with comments like, "It's kind of strange to hear that melody with lyrics but... it suits IVE well too", "I bet it took a long time to get permission to use that sample", "It's so good", "It was probably special to the Japanese fans since it's Ryuichi Sakamoto", "The song is good but I wish the title was something other than 'Supernova'", "It's such an iconic OST and they made it work well", etc. 

Meanwhile, IVE will hold day two of 'Show What I Have Encore' at the Tokyo Dome later today on September 5 KST / JST.
