Korean netizens and fans are expressing their outrage and shock after photos of SM Entertainment's rookie boy group RIIZE were circulated online.
This is because these photos were unauthorized photos taken by Sasaengs or obsessive fans who invade the privacy of celebrities. These photos, reportedly taken by Sasaengs, captured the members during private moments on an airplane and the airport, all without their consent.
Sasaeng fans were seen taking photos of the members and watching them while they were filling out the immigration form and even when the members were having their boarding passes and passports checked at the boarding gate.
Many netizens criticized how these Sasaeng fans were seen shoving their cameras at the members from all directions, not giving them any privacy.
Korean netizens commented:
"Taking the photos in the airplane is really insane."
"I think the people who take these photos don't think of celebrities as human."
"This is not that bad. During TVXQ time, these Sasaeng fans broke into the group's dorms. That's legendary."
"These Sasaengs are delusional because after they take these photos, they're going to say their bias looked straight at them."
"This is so gross."
"They are not fans. They are pretending to be fans."
"I think these types of fans are really mental."
"I'm so tired of these crazy fans."
"This is why idols have panic attacks."
"This is not an issue only for RIIZE but all idols. They need protection from these Sasaengs."
"The photo of the two members on the airplane looks like it was taken by another member."
"This is so creepy."
