BTS's V sends fans into chaos by personally joining a "Kim Taehyung" KakaoTalk group chat to celebrate "Layover's" 1st anniversary

Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, was caught in a hilarious situation when he tried to interact with fans.

On September 9, Taehyung made a brief appearance on social media to celebrate the first anniversary of his debut album "Layover" and the 7th birthday of his pet dog, Yeontan.

In his typical chaotic style, Taehyung stirred things up by randomly joining a "Kim Taehyung" fan KakaoTalk group chat to interact with fans, but at first, no one believed he was the real deal.

Taehyung sent several messages in the chat. "How is everyone doing? I came here because the verification process in other rooms was too difficult," he wrote.

When fans doubted he was the real Taehyung, he continued, "Oh, haha. Aren't you going to say hello?"

Taehyung proved his identity by posting an unseen mirror selfie wearing his military uniform, along with the message, "Now I have to go to dinner roll call. I'll come visit again next time. Thank you for your hard work today." before signing off.

Taehyung also made an appearance on Weverse, where he opened up about his military experience and shared a new photo of himself with his beloved Pomeranian, Yeontan.

Taehyung responded to another message asking, "Taetae, how have you been lately in the military?" to which he replied, "Heh... It's been hard. I came to get some energy. I'll come back again later."

Taehyung also responded to a fan's post congratulating him on Layover's first anniversary and Yeontan's birthday, saying, "Hm, I was running in front of the military camp, and I saw the pictures hung up and I blushed from seeing it."

The banners Taehyung saw were organized by several of his solo fanbases outside his military base to celebrate Layover's first anniversary.

This marks Taehyung's first military update in months, and fans were overjoyed that he's still taking the time to connect with them despite his busy and tiring schedule in the military.

Fans were also elated that their messages of love and support reached him.
