TEMPEST announces Hwarang’s departure + continuing with 6 members

Yuehua Entertainment has released a notice on TEMPEST’s official fan cafe regarding updates on the member Hwarang. This comes five months after Hwarang was put on hiatus, due to admitting to being at a club to a fan at a fan-sign event.

On August 11, TEMPEST confirmed Hwarang’s departure from the group, and that TEMPEST will continue promotions as a six-member group. Yuehua Entertainment states that with much deliberation and after in-depth discussions with Hwarang about promotional activities and future goals, they have agreed to terminate his contract.

The agency also warns that legal action will be taken against slander of their artists, and asks for support and love for TEMPEST’s upcoming appearance on the competition reality show ‘Road to Kingdom’.
