Seungri has personally refuted the claims of his appearance in the Indonesian Burning Sun club event on August 31, as previously announced by the event’s host TSV Management. Seungri adds that he will be taking legal action against the claim for slander and illegal use of his image.
Besides clarifying said controversy, Seungri also claims that some reports of his sightings and plans are taken out of context. Furthermore, he took the chance to apologize for mentioning G-Dragon and using Big Bang’s fame in events he attended post-criminal charges, stating that he will spend his life quietly without implicating others.
Seungri was released from prison in February 2023, after completing his jail sentence for violating nine laws, which includes gambling, sex trafficking, sexual assault, and embezzlement.
