After being released from prison following the 'Burning Sun scandal,' Seungri has denied rumors that he will attend an event in Indonesia at the end of this month under the name "Burning Sun Surabaya," calling the reports "groundless." Despite his denial, recent reports suggest he was spotted at a club in Indonesia.
According to a report by Maeil Business Newspaper on August 12, Seungri was seen several times at the S Club, a beachside venue in Bali, on the 10th. Bali is approximately 300 kilometers from Surabaya in East Java, a distance that takes about 50 minutes by plane.
In a video obtained by the news media outlet, Seungri is seen chatting with one or two women who appear to be Korean. At one point, one of the women asks, "Will Seunghyun oppa (Seungri's real name) buy it for us?" to which Seungri responds, "I'll buy it, I'll buy it."
Additionally, one of Seungri's companions reportedly invited other Korean tourists to join them at their accommodation, saying, "Our place is just 5 minutes away, let's go have fun together."
On August 11, it was reported that event management company TSV Management had announced on Instagram that they would be hosting an event called "Burning Sun Surabaya" on the 31st, with Seungri set to appear as a special guest.
In response, Seungri told a media outlet, "I want to stay quiet, but people keep bringing me up, so I need to correct the facts. I don't even know where the place in Indonesia mentioned in the article is, and I have no plans to attend any club event on August 31," effectively denying reports.
