Seungri has addressed the rumors about his alleged plans to open a new club.
On August 11, Seungri responded to media reports, refuting claims related to Burning Sun and his supposed future business ventures. He specifically denied rumors of his involvement in an Indonesian event for a Burning Sun club on August 31 and expressed regret for previously mentioning G-Dragon and leveraging Big Bang’s fame at events he attended following his criminal charges.
Regarding the mention of G-Dragon, Seungri admitted to attending a private party at a club in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in January, where he reportedly said, "Someday, I will bring G-Dragon here," in an attempt to excite the crowd.
Reflecting on the incident, he acknowledged, "I got caught up in the moment and didn't handle myself appropriately. It was a mistake, and it won’t happen again."
In an interview with Ilgan Sports, Seungri also directly denied reports that he is preparing to open a club in Hong Kong.
"Does it make any sense for me to be involved in clubs again?" he questioned. "I’ve never planned it, nor have I mentioned it to anyone. I suspect these rumors are being further exploited abroad," he added.
