Virtual K-Pop group PLAVE has officially scored the first #1 hit on Melon's 'Top 100' by a boy group in 2024.
Freshly released on August 20 at 6 PM KST, PLAVE's latest digital single "Pump Up The Volume!" claimed #1 on Melon's 'Top 100' chart on August 21 at 12 AM KST, demonstrating the streaming power of the boy group's fan club, PLLI.
Also during that hour, 6 other PLAVE songs including "WAY 4 LUV", "Our Movie", "Watch Me Woo!", "From", "Virtual Idol", and "The Sixth Summer" all landed in the top 10 on the 'Top 100' chart, as shown below.
Many netizens were astonished to see PLAVE's fandom achieving what even trot hero Lim Young Woong and his fandom could not achieve on the 'Top 100' chart.
Meanwhile, PLAVE will be greeting fans at their encore concert, 'PLAVE Fan Concert 'Hello, Asterum!' Encore' in Seoul at Jamsil Indoor Stadium from October 5-6.
