PLAVE's Noah leads Wikitree's 'Gftree' voting for July, beating out Byun Woo Seok & Kim Hye Yoon

Noah from the group PLAVE has claimed the top spot in the week 5 voting for July on WikiTree's fan voting service, Giftree.

He earned this position with a total of 1,146,880 votes, maintaining his streak as the number-one star for six consecutive weeks. This outstanding achievement also secured him the title of the most popular star for both June and July. Byun Woo Seok followed closely in second place with 1,042,509 votes, while Kim Hye Yoon took third place with 50,270 votes.

As of August 5, the first-week voting for August is underway, with Byun Woo Seok currently leading with 54,755 votes, followed by Kim Hye Yoon with 20,482 votes, and Noah with 13,425 votes.

As a reward for his first-place finish, Noah will receive significant exposure, including digital billboard ads at the highly trafficked Gangnam Station and Hongdae Station on Line 2 of the Seoul Subway from August 17 to August 31. Additionally, congratulatory content will be featured on WikiTree’s Instagram channel, which boasts 260,000 followers. A tree will also be planted in Noah’s name during August, with a forest bearing his name expected to be established by Spring 2025.

Noah is celebrated not only for his vocal talents as PLAVE's lead vocalist but also for his skills in songwriting, composing, and producing. He first gained widespread attention last July with his cover of "Betelgeuse" by Yuuri, earning him the nickname "the guy with yellow hair singing Betelgeuse." The cover has since surpassed 6.74 million views, with fans praising his distinctive voice.

Meanwhile, Giftree allows fans to participate easily by registering with a social media account. Voting tickets are awarded daily, and users can increase their tickets by reading articles or watching ads. At the end of each month, the star with the most accumulated votes receives several rewards, including a tree donation in their name, a week of subway billboard support, and a promotional article package.
