NMIXX leader Haewon is set to showcase her variety show skills on the upcoming episode of MBC’s ‘Radio Star,’ airing on August 28 at 10:30 PM KST. The episode features Haewon alongside guests Shin Kyesook, Kang Joo Eun, and Yewon.

Known as the “4th generation ambitious idol,” Haewon is making waves not only as the leader of NMIXX but also as a rising star in the world of variety shows. As the first JYP Entertainment trainee to hold the title of “public comedian,” Haewon has caught the attention of many, including JYP himself, with her comedic timing and vibrant personality. Despite it being her first appearance on ‘Radio Star,’ Haewon showed no signs of nervousness, boldly declaring, “I’m here to take over ‘Radio Star’ today,” which captivated the show’s hosts, including Kim Gu ra.

Haewon is also making waves on YouTube, where she initially appeared as a guest on ‘Work Idol’ season 1 and was subsequently selected as the host for season 2. Her popularity on the show has led to an influx of love calls from terrestrial TV programs. The ‘Radio Star’ hosts were quick to highlight Haewon‘s upcoming role as a co-host with Jun Hyun Moo for MBC’s Chuseok special, ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships,’ predicting that the offers for commercials would soon follow.
