On the afternoon of August 21 KST, The Black Label, led by Teddy, known for producing major YG Entertainment artists like BIGBANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK, released a video titled MEOVV TRAILER 'ELLA' on its official YouTube channel, revealing the first member of their new girl group, MEOVV.
Ella Gross, who first signed with The Black Label in 2018, is the first member to be introduced. Netizens were quick to react to Ella's debut trailer:
