It has been reported that IU generously provided business class seats for over 100 staff members who worked hard during the US leg of her World concert tour.
On August 4, various online communities were filled with photos posted by staff members showing their business class seats. These staff members expressed their gratitude towards IU for her thoughtful gesture.
One staff member wrote, "Her flex, providing business class for all the staff as a reward for their hard work. Her name is IU," sharing a photo of themselves in the business class seat.
Other staff members echoed these sentiments, posting comments like, "Thanks to Ji Eun unnie, we are comfortably flying back to Korea," "Thanks to IU unnie, we are comfortably going back to Korea. IU unnie is the best," and "Fairy IU is really great. IU unnie is the best," along with their photos. IU was tagged in these posts.
It was revealed that IU's concert team included at least 30 dancers, and she provided business class tickets for over 100 staff members, including band members, agency executives, and security teams.
IU has been conducting her first world tour concert 'HEREH' since March, starting in Seoul.
During her recent North American tour, she successfully completed concerts in Newark on July 15, Atlanta on July 19, Washington D.C. on July 22, Rosemont on July 25, Oakland on July 30, and Los Angeles on August 2.
This is not the first time IU has shown such grand gestures of appreciation for her staff. During this tour, IU also gifted her staff express passes to Universal Studios Hollywood in LA.
Additionally, it was reported that during her concert in Japan, she prepared a luxurious food truck for her staff, drawing attention.
