Broadcaster Ham So Won shares her feelings after announcing divorce from Jin Hua.
On August 22 KSt, Ham So Won took to her Instagram to share her thoughts following her divorce announcement from Jin Hua. She posted, “Let’s play, no more work. I plan to live like this after 50, enjoying life. I’m just here on this Earth for a temporary visit. I won’t think about making money because I have enough to spend. I’ll reduce work as much as possible. If work starts to feel like work, I’ll stop immediately. Spending happy times with Hyejeong is my top priority. And I’ll frequently chat with my followers.”
She also expressed her calm state of mind after the divorce announcement, writing, “Let’s be happy now. Everyone, let’s be happy together.”
Ham So Won and Jin Hua married in 2018, overcoming an 18-year age difference, and have one daughter together. However, the couple recently revealed that they divorced around December 2022 but chose to reconcile for the sake of their young daughter. Despite their efforts, they have once again parted ways.
Ham So Won explained, “I asked Jin Hua to wait until Hyejeong can fully accept the (divorce). Jin Hua is still at home. He wants to fulfill his responsibilities for our daughter.” She added, “If Hyejeong wants it, I’m open to the idea of reconciliation. We can’t say that we are completely separated yet. Although Jin Hua and I are divorced on paper, the time we’ve spent together is long.” The fact that they are still working together despite their divorce has also drawn attention.
