On August 27 KST, Billboard Korea hosted its inaugural 'Billboard K Power 100' event at The Shilla Seoul Yeong Bin Gwan.
The event was held to commemorate the formal launch of the Korean branch of Billboard, as well as to look back on the rich, 100-year history of Korean popular music and its influence on the global music market.
On this day, Mike Van, CEO of Billboard, and Kim Yuna, CEO of Billboard Korea, hosted a gathering of numerous figures in the Korean music industry, each representing their field.
One guest who caught the attention of media outlets on this day was girl group FIFTY FIFTY, making their first public appearance as 5-members with Keena, Chanelle, Yewon, Hana, and Athena.
