Chuu Cast in New Drama 'My Girlfriend is a Hot Guy'

On August 6 KST, ATRP, Chuu's agency, announced, "Chuu has been cast as the lead character Kang Min Joo in the new drama 'My Girlfriend is a Hot Guy'. She is preparing for the role with great responsibility and dedication. Please look forward to Chuu's new transformation and the unique charm she will bring to the role."

The drama 'My Girlfriend is a Hot Guy', based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name (written by Lee Ha Na, directed by Yoo Kwan Mo, produced by Studio N, Blossom Entertainment, and Playground), is a chaotic romance story about Kim Ji Eun (played by Arin), a girl who suddenly transforms into a handsome man, and Park Yoon Jae (played by Yoon Sanha), who cannot give up on his girlfriend despite her transformation.

In the drama, Chuu will play the role of Kang Min Joo, a hot girl at Yeonhui University who secretly has a crush on Park Yoon Jae, showcasing her confident and straightforward charm.

Meanwhile, Chuu, who recently released her second mini-album 'Strawberry Rush', has been receiving significant attention both domestically and internationally. She is currently on her North American fan-con tour '2024 CHUU FAN-CON Strawberry Rush in AMERICAS', meeting global fans in 12 cities from July 17 to August 13 KST.
