BJ Seyeon has addressed HYBE's official statements regarding her encounter with Bang Si Hyuk.

As seen previously, AfreecaTV broadcast jockey Juicy Seyeon (real name In Se Yeon) has been making headlineslately, along with her fan club president, due to netizen speculation about her close association with the HYBE chairman.

Recently, BJ Seyeon responded to HYBE's official claim that Bang Si Hyuk had "met Juicy Seyeon by chance at a gathering" and subsequently "guided her and her sister around LA, showing them various tourist attractions."

However, BJ Seyeon expressed frustration, stating that it is impossible to ever meet Chairman Bang Si Hyuk "by chance" since he "apparently has face blindness (prosopagnosia)."

She added, "The words 'by chance' in the statement could easily lead to misunderstandings."

BJ Seyeon then elaborated on her relationship with Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, explaining, "Last year, someone impersonating HYBE contacted me via Instagram DM. The conversation was strange and not work-related, so I asked my sister, who knew Chairman Bang Si Hyuk at the time, to inquire about it, and it turned out that the person was an impersonator."

She continued, "HYBE had already caught the impersonator and taken action. The impersonator is currently in prison, and it was a serious case with other victims besides me. As I helped gather information about the impersonator, Chairman Bang Si Hyuk became aware of me, even though we had never met in person."

Additionally, Seyeon mentioned that there was a highly sought-after restaurant in LA that was difficult to book. Recalling the impersonator incident, Bang Si Hyuk "kindly offered to help," stating that "if we went together, the reservation could be made. We really wanted to go since it was a very popular restaurant in the U.S., so we asked for his help, and he graciously guided us there in person."
