ASTRO member Sanha, currently gearing up for his solo debut, surprised fellow singer Paul Kim with his ambitious goal.
On August 1, Sanha appeared as a guest on Paul Kim's YouTube talk show, 'Paul Kim's Remaining Chestnut Peeling', where he described his 1st mini album 'Dusk' and the creative processes behind its completion.
When asked what his personal goals were for 2~3 years down the line, Sanha surprised host Paul Kim with his answer. The ASTRO member said, "You see, I have a lot of faith in myself. I have a very clear goal. It's to catch up to Eun Woo hyung," referring to his fellow group member Cha Eun Woo.
Sanha then added on, "Since I see him all the time, I always say to him, 'Hyung, watch out because I'm catching up to you soon'. When he hears that, he laughs and says, 'Okay, I'll be waiting so hurry up'."
He continued, "But in all seriousness, 2 or 3 years from now, I want to be an artist known by the public. I want to be known and recognized by the public more than I am now, so that everyone will know the artist Sanha."
Hearing this, Paul Kim remarked, "When I heard you say that, I thought, 'When was the last time I saw someone with so much ambition in their eyes?'. I think to have so much ambition that it shows in your eyes, it's a special thing."
