aespa's Karina is joining the lineup for Mnet's 'MY ARTi FILM' variety show.

On August 8, Mnet revealed Karina is joining in the upcoming performance variety show 'MY ARTi FILM'. The show will feature innovative cinematic performances, where K-pop artists can challenge themselves to acting in genres like romance, comedy, thriller, and more. Each episode will include dance performances reinterpreting scenes from iconic movies.

Karina is taking on the noir action genre, and she's set to portray a strong character who stands up to a crime boss. She expressed, "I enjoyed becoming the lead of a noir action piece, which I usually just watch. I hope viewers appreciate and enjoy seeing this side of me."

'MY ARTi FILM' will feature KISS OF LIFE's Julie and Natty on its next episode on Mnet K-Pop's YouTube channel on August 13 at 9PM KST.
