Actress Chun Woo Hee celebrated her 20th debut anniversary by hosting a special event for her fans, demonstrating her deep love and appreciation for them.
Chun Woo Hee, who made her debut in the 2004 film 'Love, So Divine,' marks her 20th year in the industry this year. With remarkable achievements in global projects like 'I’m Not a Hero' and 'The Eight Show,' Chun Woo Hee has made this milestone particularly meaningful. In gratitude for the unwavering support from her fans, she planned a “reverse fan service” event.
On August 17 KST, Chun Woo Hee held a fan signing event, selecting 50 fans in advance through her fan café. She personalized each autograph with a unique message and took individual selfies with all the attendees, showing her heartfelt dedication.
The following day, on August 18 KST, she organized an event at a café in Gangnam, where she personally paid for drinks for the fans who visited. Around 200 fans received limited edition photocards and mugs with Chun Woo Hee's handwritten messages.
The cup holders made for this event had the playful message, "If you drink this, we’ll be together for another 20 years," while the banner read, "For the next 20 years, just like now." Fans responded warmly with a message that said, "Woo Hee is in both our past and future," adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.
Chun Woo Hee also made headlines last May when she delivered a touching speech at a fan's wedding. Reflecting on her 20th-anniversary event, Chun Woo Hee said, "I’ve always received so much love from my fans. As I reached my 20th anniversary, I wanted to express my feelings before my fans had a chance to plan anything. Although it was a brief event, it was a meaningful time that recharged me with the energy to move forward."
Meanwhile, Chun Woo Hee has been on a roll with endorsements in finance, fast food, beauty, and magazine covers, thanks to the global success of her two recent projects. She is currently considering a role in the upcoming drama 'My Youth' (tentative title).
