Singer Zion.T has shared his heartfelt sentiments about parting ways with The Black Label after an 8-year journey together.
On July 2nd, Zion.T took to his social media account to announce, "I have concluded my exclusive contract with The Black Label, which has been my home for the past 8 years and 6 months," along with a lengthy post.
Reflecting on his time with the label, he wrote, "From before the office was established to now, it has been a precious time where I learned a lot about the world as both an artist and a colleague. I sincerely thank my eternal mentor Teddy hyung, those who steadfastly held their positions, and the staff who have come and gone. I also want to express my deep gratitude to fellow producers and artists."
He added, "I look forward to seeing how my future unfolds. Goodbye," expressing his excitement for a new beginning.
On July 1st, The Black Label announced the end of their exclusive contract with Zion.T.
In 2016, Zion.T left Amoeba Culture to sign an exclusive contract with The Black Label, founded by YG Entertainment producer Teddy. During his time with The Black Label, he was involved in various activities, including establishing the creative company 'Standard Friends.'
