Twice's fifth world tour attracts 1.5 million fans.
Twice concluded their fifth world tour, "TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE' in JAPAN SPECIAL," with solo performances on July 27 and 28 KST at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan. This marked the first time an overseas female artist performed at the venue. Over the course of 15 months, the tour was met with great success.
Starting in April 2023 at KSPO Dome (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul, Twice held their first-ever concerts in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, in May, selling out all four shows and showcasing their ticket power. In June and July of the same year, Twice became the first female group to perform at the largest stadiums in the United States, including SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York, selling out both venues and solidifying their status as "global stadium headliners."
Continuing their momentum, Twice embarked on their first European tour in September 2023, performing in London, Paris, and Berlin. They expanded their global influence with solo concerts in Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, and Bulacan, Philippines. In November 2023, they became the first K-pop group to hold a solo concert at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, and in February this year, they sold out Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil, marking the first time a K-pop girl group achieved this feat. Throughout the tour, Twice amassed a total audience of approximately 1.5 million, setting a remarkable record.
Twice's entry into Nissan Stadium as the first overseas female artist attracted a total of 140,000 fans over two performances, reaffirming their presence as "stadium artists."
