In a new achievement for K-Pop, Stray Kids and BTS's Jimin have made history as it's the first time two K-pop albums simultaneously debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Stray Kids' latest album, 'ATE,' claimed the #1 spot, while Jimin's solo album 'MUSE' secured #2.
According to Billboard, this marks the first time that K-pop albums have debuted at both the #1 and #2 positions on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, underscoring the genre's growing influence and popularity worldwide.
Stray Kids' 'ATE' achieved an impressive debut at #1 with a total of 232,000 equivalent album units. This includes 19.05 million on-demand streams and 218,000 pure sales, highlighting the group's widespread appeal and the dedicated support of their fanbase, known as STAY.
Meanwhile, Jimin's 'MUSE' debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with a total of 96,000 equivalent album units, including 74,000 pure sales. This marks a significant milestone in Jimin's career as a solo artist.
