The latest buzz surrounds ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin after her alleged private Kakaotalk messages that were leaked by Dispatch.
Following the leaked messages, Min Hee Jin faced accusations of consulting a Shaman for advice and making decisions about member selections based on the Shaman's guidance. Min Hee Jin was accused of breach of trust as she shared private company information with the Shaman. However, Min Hee Jin has maintained that the Shaman, known as "Jiyeongnim0814" and identified as Ms. Lee, is "just an acquaintance." Since then, both Min and Ms. Lee have been silent on the matter, with Ms. Lee disappearing from the public view.
On the afternoon of July 26, media outlet TV Daily visited the location where the Shaman Ms. Lee operated, M Shrine, located in H Villa, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. However, Ms. Lee had already vacated the premises, and attempts to reach her through previously registered phone numbers were all unsuccessful.
The shrine is now being operated under a different name by another shaman, identified as H. When approached, H cautiously opened the door and responded to questions with a wary look. The interior looked like a typical fortune-telling place, although there was no sign indicating any business at the entrance. In response to questions about their relationship with CEO Min Hee Jin, H clarified, "I have no relationship with her and am not the shaman being mentioned." H added, "I started running this place as OO Shrine since January this year. I don't know much about the previous tenant," distancing himself from the current controversy.
