NewJeans' Hanni has shown her mutual love for Seventeen.
On an online forum, netizens were delighted by Hanni's recent messages to her fans via Phoning. In these messages, Hanni discovered that Seventeen's Woozi had used one of her memes, shared that she saw his cover of "How Sweet" at Seventeen's fan meeting, and even recommended a Seventeen song to her fans.
The meme Woozi used was "Ready Kal Done," a phrase Hanni originally said in one of NewJeans' contents as an outcome of her unintentional Korean language error.
Woozi used the same phrase in a message to his fans: "Carat Love Ready Kal Done."
Hanni's Phoning messages read:
"Ready Kal Done... How did it reach (Woozi) sunbaenim? O.O facepalm Omg, what do I do~~~ Woozi sunbaenim! hehe I saw him dancing to 'How Sweet'!! >u< NewJeans' Hooni (a nickname based on Woozi's real name) hehe. It sounds similar to my name! I guess there was another NewJeans member that I didn't know existed hehe lol."
Additionally, before leaving the chat, she recommended Seventeen's song "Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day" to her fans, describing it as "a song that I really love ^^ I recommend you listen to it on a summer's night~ <3".
Netizens and fans from both groups left supportive comments about their friendship and even urged "Bang Si Hyuk and Min Hee Jin to please reconcile."
