Netizens look back on the numerous times that YouTuber Tzuyang appeared on broadcast with bruised or bandaged arms from her abusive ex-boyfriend

The story of mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang, who confessed that she suffered abuse, violence, extortion from her ex-boyfriend 'A' for 4-years, has caused an uproar on various online communities in South Korea.

In the early hours of July 11 KST, Tzuyang held a live broadcast accompanied by her legal representatives to confess that she had suffered as a victim of abuse, violence, and extortion for 4-years. She said, "I was hit every day while doing broadcasts. Sometimes I even went on broadcast with a bruised face."

What further caused uproar among netizens was the fact that when Tzuyang proceeded to press charges against 'A', the ex-boyfriend took his own life, concluding the case without any person indicted.

In light of the recent news, the topic of Tzuyang's often "bruised" arms rose to the surface again. In the past, many of her viewers had pointed out her bruised arms during her broadcasts, asking if she were a "klutz" who injured herself often.

However, after learning the cause of Tzuyang's frequent injuries, Korean netizens fumed with anger. In particular, many pointed out that the bruises on the YouTuber's arms were defense wounds, often found on the hands and forearms if a victim of violence raised them to protect the head and face.
