KARA member/actress Park Gyuri will be halting her activities temporarily to recover from facial fractures.
On July 13 KST, Park Gyuri's label Big Boss Entertainment revealed, "Park Gyuri recently sustained fractures in her cheekbone and eye socket during her private schedules, and visited the hospital to receive a medical examination. Considering the location of the fractures, the medical experts advised surgery as well as a recovery period of 4-5 weeks. After a lengthy discussion with the artist, it has been decided that Park Gyuri will limit strenuous activities and focus on her recovery. As a result, she will not participate in any previously scheduled activities for the month of July."
The label ensured that it would do all that was necessary for Park Gyuri's speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, Park Gyuri's group KARA is scheduled to release a new single, "I Do I Do", on July 24 at 6 PM KST. The group is also scheduled to hold solo concerts in Tokyo and Osaka in August.
