On the July 11 installment of singer Kim Jaejoong's YouTube show 'Jaefriends', (G)I-DLE member Minnie personally confirmed(?) the rumors that she is a "Thai princess"(?). 

On this day, Kim Jaejoong greeted his guest with homemade kimchijjim. The two stars chatted about (G)I-DLE's decorated career as well as the group's latest album, and Jaejoong also took time to learn about Minnie as a person. When he asked, "Do you have a house in Thailand?", Minnie answered, "No, I live with my parents." 

The production staff then showed Jaejoong's photos of Minnie's house, which had previously garnered attention for its luxurious interior. In particular, Jaejoong was shocked to see that Minnie's home had a home fitness center and a grandiose pool. However, seeing the photo of the pool, Minnie explained, "The pool isn't from my house. That's the hotel." 

Hearing this, Jaejoong was shocked once again, remarking, "Oh, your grandmother owns a hotel? You really are a Thai princess!"

Later, Kim Jaejoong also brought up the topic of Minnie's dazzling outfit worn at the Songkran Festival in Thailand. The idol, who appeared at the festival dressed in traditional Thai clothing and accessories, commented, "Those clothes were actually worn by the royal family long ago. The entire outfit costs over 1 billion KRW. It's made entirely of real gold and diamond. It was extremely heavy, so I had to maintain an upright position the whole time."

Minnie also mentioned how proud her parents had been at the time, recalling, "Both my mom and dad were smiling really big all day. So many top actors and actresses were also there, and I stood in the middle. They were very proud."
