Former BLACK6IX member Kim Hyun Jae (stage name The King), who withdrew from the JTBC competition show 'Peak Time' in March of last year after facing school bullying accusations, has officially been cleared of all accusation in court, over a year later.

On July 10 KST, Kim Hyun Jae personally announced via his Instagram that the Seoul Central District Court has found his school bullying accuser, a former elementary/middle school classmate, guilty of making false accusations. The court ruled that the accuser would be responsible for paying Kim Hyun Jae damages. As of this day, the court has found all bullying accusations against Kim Hyun Jae to be false.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Jae garnered attention as a member of Team 24:00 on JTBC's 'Peak Time', which aired in the first half of 2023. However, after the school bullying accusations surfaced online, Kim Hyun Jae announced his withdrawal from the program as to prevent harming the other contestants. The idol proceeded to sue his accuser for false claims, pressing on with a year-long lawsuit.

Kim Hyun Jae debuted as a member of the idol group BLACK6IX in April of 2017.
