In 2021, Shin Se Kyung left Namoo Actors, where she had been for 19 years since her debut, to join EDAM Entertainment, founded by IU and her long-time manager. At that time, IU personally welcomed Shin Se Kyung with a bouquet and rice cakes.
During her time with EDAM Entertainment, Shin Se Kyung appeared in tvN's 'Arthdal Chronicles' and 'Captivating the King.' It is reported that she is currently reviewing potential future projects.
