Following the immense success of her 1st solo album title track, "Pop!", TWICE's Nayeon certainly had a lot of expectations to live up to with her 2nd mini album comeback.
On June 14 at midnight EST, Nayeon released all of the songs from her 2nd mini album, 'NA', as well as the full MV for her title track, "ABCD".
As previously hinted by her comeback teasers, Nayeon's concept this time around is a bold "Y2K transformation".
Well, how did netizens react to Nayeon's new look and sound?

Too American, so it doesn't match what you wanted from kpop. There. I said it.

All these comments are "its an outdated concept, too Britney, doesnt suit her.."
Filmed in a used for decades LA studio backlot with more western dancers than you can count.
Swap out Nayeon for any generic western artist and it would be exactly the same.
There's no kpop stamp on it.
They even dressed her the same way as Jihyo's solo for the final dance.

Not surprised though with their "US first" collab record deal. A fun fact, TWICE spent nearly their entire promo window for one last album in the US with stans claiming its "the most important music market for them", yet only 100K of the first 700K album sales were from the USA.
The global fans who are now geoblocked from ordering signed (US only) albums were the fans buying the content.
