K-netizens react to the news that HYBE has to pay all of Min Hee Jin's legal fees

AKP STAFF

In the latest news regarding the legal battle between ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and HYBE, the court has approved an injunction against HYBE, which means they cannot legally dismiss her unless they pay a compensation of 20 billion KRW (14,528,232 USD). Additionally, it has been reported that the court has also ordered HYBE to pay for Min Hee Jin's legal fees.

A netizen shared an excerpt from the legal processing explaining, "If such is the case, the creditor's petition is acknowledged within the recognized scope and duly cited, while the remaining petitions are dismissed for lack of justification. Concerning the allocation of litigation expenses, taking into account the circumstances leading to the initiation of this case's petition, the debtor is hereby deemed responsible for the entirety of said costs."

The netizen also wrote, "Some netizens on Theqoo think the legal fees amounted to 2 billion KRW (~1.5 million USD) but that's assuming Min Hee Jin spent it all on attorney incentive fees. The actual litigation costs are said to be less than 10 million KRW (7,284 USD). I brought this up because they were being too petty."

Korean netizens responded:

"They lost their image, they lost market capitalization and money. What did they even gain in return?"

"This is why HYBE is doing that Hug even thing?"

"This is making me laugh."

"So their operating profit is 29 billion KRW, they would lose 20 billion KRW?"

"I understand why they planned that hug event lol."

"It would be better if Min Hee Jin could ask for the lawyer fees too."

"What did they gain lol."

"HYBE must be so pissed."

"They were so dumb."

"Jin would earn all the money back."

"Why did they start this legal battle?"

A HYBE stan accused me of gaslighting him/her because I pointed out that their blind faith amounted to a cultdom. Instead of saying I agree to disagree, he/she hit kept going off. Everyone makes mistakes, nobody is perfect - but what has come out of this is that HYBE truly acted in bad faith, and that has been supported by the court rulings. MHJ is allowed to be upset that ADOR is being unfairly treated. She spoke up and got abused publicly by HYBE hounds just ready to bite. At this point, if people still think HYBE is completely in the right… you guys should really start to consider that maybe you were lead on, exactly as how they planned it. I was right about 50/50, I was right about NJ too. The evidence and court rulings speak for themselves. Don’t hold onto specific actions and snippets by itself, but view it with a wider angle and perspective. The cost to unjustly fire an employee is 14 million USD. The cost to maliciously defund and hurt ADOR will be much more.

Lol this is what happens when Hybe mediaplay without any actual evidence. The court is pretty much siding with MHJ because there is proof that Hybe did Ador dirty first. But y'all in denial lol
