On June 2, the B-boy team Jinjo Crew (SKT) won the 'Serial Kickers Hip Hop International 3:3' competition held in France.
In this competition, which featured participants from various countries including Korea, Poland, France, the United States, and Italy, Jinjo Crew defeated France in the quarterfinals, Poland's next-generation representatives Cool Kids Mob in the semifinals, and a combined team from Italy, France, and Canada in the finals.
Among the participants were national representatives who had secured spots in the Paris Olympics, highlighting the high level of the competition. This event, which began in 2003 as a leading international breakdance competition, has grown into a major hip-hop festival representing creative expression and cultural dialogue.
Initially organized as an urban festival in a rural setting, it has now become one of France's key events, known for its enthusiastic public support and love.
Jinjo Crew leader Kim Heon-jun expressed his feelings, saying, "I am very happy to have won and thankful for the support. The audience's response was fantastic, making the experience enjoyable, and I learned a lot as both a dancer and planner."
Just a few days earlier, on May 27, Jinjo Crew had won the final victory in the performance competition 'The Dance Day' broadcast on Japan's NTV. After receiving tremendous support from dance enthusiasts, they returned to Korea, departed again within three days for this competition, and achieved another victory.
